The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is alarmed about the significant variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to SRD service the area every day. The assistance stage made for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for your office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to help the servicing of all clients and enhance usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
